Physical remand of arrested Indian national granted

Islamabad—A lower court of Islamabad Friday granted a five days physical remand of an Indian national accused of using fraudulent means to acquire Pakistani citizenship, to FIA.
The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) produced the accused Rustam Sadhua allegedly involved in a case of forgery and violation of Foreign Act, before Senior Judicial Magistrate Abdul Ghafor Kakar.
The FIA official appealed the court to grant an eight days physical remand of the accused to complete investigation of the case.
After hearing the arguments, the court granted five days physical remand of the accused.
It may be mention here that the FIA had arrested Sadhua last day under Foreign Act. The accused reportedly arrived in the country in 1982 who later obtained the identity card.—APP
