Pakistan joins regional countries to address security challenges

Beijing—Pakistan joined 59 countries at the seventh Xiangshan Forum held here to address the security challenges and develop a consensus mechanism for fighting international terrorism.
About 500 defense officials and scholars are participating in the three-day forum. This is a part of China’s pro-active role developing global security cooperation.
Sun Jianguo, deputy chief of the Joint Staff Department of China’s Central Military Commission addressed inaugural session of the forum, underling the need of adopting a joint action plan to eliminate terrorists’ network world over.—INP
