Rawalpindi—Pakistan and Turkey are bond in strong religious, cultural and bilateral ties and the people of both countries are facing similar issues.
General Secretary Turkish Red Crescent Society Hussain Jan said addressing a function held at Faizul Islam Markaz here Friday.
He said both the countries adopt same stance on issues being faced by the Muslim Ummah.
Hussain said Turkey has given asylum to three million Syrians on humanitarian grounds and the people are helping them with religious zeal and fervor he said adding that Pakistani people and Government had served the Afghan brethren. He said the Muslim Ummah is passing through a crucial juncture and its time to overcome internal and external conspiracies with unity.
Earlier he visited the hostel of the Markaz where orphan and poor students are being provided free boarding and lodging . Hussain also saw the technical training Institute and Dispensary which had been donated by the Turkish Red Crescent Society.
