Pak not a failed state: Bopp

Sialkot—The Canada based senior educationists and sociologists have declared that Pakistan is not a failed state, saying that the nature has blessed Pakistan with all the natural resources, due to which Pakistan is an ideal country geographically as being the well enriched with the natural resources.The visiting Canadian senior educationists and sociologists Dr. Michael Bopp and Dr. Judie Bopp stated this while talking to the Muhammad Ejaz Noori Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare and Human Rights (PCSWHR) during their visit to PCSWHR offices at Sialkot here today. District Governor Rotary International Mir Arif Ali and senior journalists were also present on this occasion.
They said that Pakistan is not a failed state and the world should see Pakistan with fresh eyes, saying that Pakistan is an ideal country for foreign investment due to the its fabulous geographical conditions and its natural resources as well.
They said that, however, there was a dire need of proper utilization of the natural resources in Pakistan, saying that the proper utilization of the natural resources was also vital for the multi-dimensional development and prosperity of the country, besides, ensuring the promotion of the advanced technologies and advanced education in Pakistan.
Dr. Michael Bopp and Dr. Judie Bopp revealed that the global unity, peace, harmony has also become the need of the day for ensuring the durable peace in the world and poverty alleviation as well.
They narrated that the crushing the terrorism and uprooting the militancy and insurgency has also become a big challenge for the entire world as well, due to which the international community will have to promote social tolerance, social and inter-faith harmony, provision of justice, social equality and basic rights to the people and these steps would help a lot to end lawlessness, political and social unrest and torture from the society.
On this occasion, Muhammad Ejaz Noori Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare and Human Rights (PCSWHR) said that the Pakistan had ever played its frontline role for the establishment of durable global peace, besides, sacrificing a lot for crushing the terrorism, militancy and insurgency as well, as the Pakistan had ever remained victim of terrorism.
He urged the World and international institutions to announce their unconditional support and full cooperation to Pakistan in its ongoing war against terrorism in the country.—INP
