Pak culinary C’ship starts

Lahore—The first four-day Pakistan Culinary Championship 2016 arranged by the Chefs Association of Pakistan (CAP) in collaboration with the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) Pakistan and Dubai on Thursday opened here at the Al-Hamra Cultural Complex.
Topaz and the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) are co-organizers of the event. According to spokesperson for CAP Zara Qureshi, the championship is aimed at promoting Pakistani Cuisine, unfolding the potential of our hospitality industry and discovering creativity and style of our professional chefs.
She said the platform of PCC-2016 would provide exposure to chefs and prepare themselves for future culinary competitions abroad. The best chefs will also be given a chance to join the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan’s international team, she added.—APP
