Following the opening of Torkhum border in Khyber Agency and Chaman border in Balochistan, the Pak-Afghan border has now opened from Angoor Adda in SWA.
Initially, the border is opened for pedestrian movement only and to be completely opened within a week for transportation of goods, Collector Custom Peshawar Qurban Ali told APP here Thursday. He said the staff of custom would be deployed within this week on the border point after which the import and export of goods would start from Angoor Adda.
It is to mention here that the three border points were closed by Pakistani authorities owing to security reasons after a suicide attack within Shrine of Sufi Saint Lal Shabaz Qalandar.—APP
