OPC helps in getting back house Rs.10m

After the intervention of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, a Canada based expatriate Pakistani has got possession of his house worth Rs One Crore in a Housing Society of Lahore.
Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti while giving details in this regard told that Imtiaz-ud-Din Siraj of Canada lodged a complaint with OPC that he booked a 10-marla house in a Housing Scheme in 2010 and made all payment amounting to Rs, one crore. The house was to be handed over in a period of three years but despite lapse of 7 years, he has not been given the possession of the house.
Afzaal Bhatti said that after this complaint, the relevant officers of OPC and Lahore Cantonment Board (LCB) contacted the management of said Housing Society and after continued efforts the Overseas Pakistani Imtiaz-Ud-Din Siraj finally got possession of his house.
