OIC, Anadolu Agency sign cooperation agreement


ANKARA—The Organization of Islamic Cooperation signed a Cooperation Agreement with Turkey’s state-run news agency, Anadolu Agency, on Wednesday, in Ankara.
The Agreement was signed by the Director of Information Department Maha Akeel and Anadolu Agency’s Deputy Director General and Editor-in-Chief Metin Mutanoglu at the headquarters of Anadolu Agency. The agreement mainly covers general partnership, news exchange, circulating information in the OIC member states and training. Commenting on the signing of the Agreement, Akeel said, “For us it’s very important to have this cooperation with Anadolu Agency because it gives us access and communication to know about the issues of the Muslim world and follow up on them”.—PR
