No justice for Mustafa, 18, killed on Eid

Even after the passing of one year, justice continues to elude the family of a youth who was killed by government forces in Bandipora on 13th September last year when he was going to offer Eid prayers in Eidgah.
The family of Mustafa Mir son of Abdul Hamid Mir, a resident of Dachigam village in Bandipora district, told Greater Kashmir that they are yet to get any justice as the probe committee has failed to submit any report regarding the killing of their son and the perpetrators are yet to be brought to book.
Mustafa, 18, was killed when government forces fired a teargas shell in his head. He was part of a peaceful rally led by Imam-e-Hi of Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Naqshbandi, which was heading towards Eidgah Bandipora to offer Eid prayers on 13 September last year.—GK
