Need stressed to find prospects of mutual cooperation with Sri Lanka

Lahore—Special Cabinet Committee on the emerging prospects of bilateral collaboration between Sri Lanka and the province of Punjab met Tuesday.
Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan presided over the meeting while the convener of the committee Additional Chief Secretary Shamail Ahmad Khawaja while describing in detail the growth strategy of provincial government on this occasion, stressed upon the need to find out prospects of mutual cooperation with Sri Lanka particularly in the field of teachers training strategy, wildlife protection, tourism development and healthcare facilities in the far-flung areas of Punjab.
The Minister Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan directed the participants of the special cabinet committee to prepare power point presentation on education sector reforms, prevalent teachers training system in the province and core cadre system of teachers training in Sri Lanka so that the proposed MoUs and agreements with the government of Sri Lanka during the coming visit of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to Colombo could be tied up without any delay.
