NAVTTC to raise technical education standard: Cheema


Islamabad—The level of technical education in Pakistan was being raised to come at par with international standards due to the skill being inculcated in the youth by National Vocational and Technical Training Commission.
These views were expressed by Executive Director Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema while addressing the participants of certificate distribution ceremony for Competency Based Training assessor’s course. NAVTTC, he said, would help the youth in finding employment opportunities in the countries.
He said that the certificate issued by NAVTTC is accepted all over the world which would ultimately open the international job market for skilled youth of Pakistan.
Executive Director Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema congratulated the assessors upon successful completion of their training and said that the assessors and CBT have a vital role in establishing an efficient TVET system and its success. He appreciated the hard work of assessors and advised them to do work with honesty and dedication.
He also pointed out the qualities of a good assessor saying a good assessor is passionate and has complete command over the subject.—APP
