Nasir urges students to acquire education for development of country

Sindh Minister for Labour, Transport and Information, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah visited the Saylayni Welfare Trust Bahadurabad head office here on Saturday.
The Trust’s Advisor Afzal Chamdia briefed him about the welfare projects including health, educational and public oriented etc.
It was pointed out that since establishment in 1999, more than 100,000 daily food and meals are provided to the needy people at various sites/places and some 7,500 families were provided education, health and need-based facilities.
Besides, 650 combined marriage ceremonies were held every month and 1,200 children were also provided educational facilities throughout the province.
As many as 100 Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants were also installed for providing safe drinking water to Thar area people and other parts of the province. The patients of TB, cancer and hepatitis diseases were also being treated by the Trust.
Furthermore, Free IT training with highly reputed institutions and certified bodies has also been imparted to poor and needy students. On the occasion, the Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah appreciated the services rendered by the Saylani Welfare Trust.
