Namaz-i-Janaza of Shaheed police personnel offered at SSU’s headquarters

Karachi—The ‘Namaz-i-Janaza’ of Shaheed policeman Rafiq Qureshi who got injured in bomb blast in Shikarpur on Eid Day was offered at SSU headquarters here on Friday.
It was attended by the Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Maj. Gen. Bilal Akbar, IGP A.D. Khawaja, senior officials and relatives and friends of the deceased.
A special contingent of the Sindh police presented the ‘Shaheed Salam’.
A police spokesman said that IGP A.D. Khawaja praised the bravery of the Shaheed policeman in line of duty to protect the lives and property of the people.
On the occasion, he announced a grant of Rs. five million, a plot, a job in police department and monthly salary till retirement, to the heirs of the Shaheed policeman.
In this regard, the IGP issued special directives to the senior police officials concerned. —APP
