Karachi—Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that he was born in Karachi, played into its streets, received education in its schools, college and university. “This is my city and it belongs to me as it belongs to others.” This he said while talking to Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar who paid courtesy call on him after being released from jail and taking over the charge of his position. The chief minister assured the mayor that he would be support him. “We would be on the same page as far as the development and public issues of this city and its people are concerned,” he said. Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar thanked the chief minister and his party for supporting him.
The chief minister said that this city belongs to all of us and we have to work for its development, industrialization and prosperity together.
