Missing Karachi schoolgirls recovered


Karachi—The three schoolgirls who went missing in Karachi’s Saudabad locality on Friday have been recovered. The girls were found after a joint raid by Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) and Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) at Liaquatabad Number 10, said CPLC chief Zubair Habib. One suspect named Aijaz was arrested from Liaquatabad Number 10 during the raid, on whose indication the girls were recovered from a house in the locality, the CPLC chief said. The girls were taken to an unknown location for interrogation, following which they were handed over to the concerned police station. Five boys have been detained by the police in relation to the incident.—INP
