Majeed asks centre to rein in federal ministers


Mirpur—Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Ch Abdul Majeed has said that the solution of Kashmir issue in accordance with the wishes of the people of Kashmir is inevitable for peace in the region.Talking to various delegations at PM house on Friday he said that his government was fully committed to serve poor people in Azad Kashmir.
He paid glowing tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for sacrificing her life for the country and nation, and vowed to safeguard the democracy and national interests.He said only the PPP had sacrificed lives to fight terror and no one could threaten them into silence. He said that PPP welcomed the peace process between Pakistan and India. He hoped that the peace process will continue without any hurdles.PM said he had urged the federal government to keep a check on ministers, especially Minister for Kashmir Affairs who “wants to destroy peace in AJK”.—PR
