Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however, light rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places of the country during next 24 hours. Rainfall is likely in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, D.G.Khan, Sukkur, Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Sargodha divisions, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during this time span.
A shallow westerly wave is effecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to move eastward during next 12 to 18 hours, an official of Met office Rashid Bilal told APP. In last 24 hours weather remained dry in the most parts of the country, however, rain-thunderstorm occurred at few places in Quetta, Makran, D.G Khan, Malakand divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rainfall recorded this time duration was Punjab: D.G.Khan 01mm, GB: Chillas 01mm and KP: Kalam 01mm. The Karachi Met Office on Saturday forecast dry weather with hazy/misty morning for Karachi during the next 24 hours.
An official of the Met Office said that the minimum temperature in the metropolis is expected to remain between 21 to 23 degrees Centigrade. He said that the minimum temperature recorded in the city was 22.5 degrees Centigrade whereas the maximum temperature recorded was 30.5 degrees Centigrade.—APP
