LHC full bench to hear petition against Raiwind march plan

Lahore—Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Thursday constituted full bench to hear a civil miscellaneous application seeking to stop Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, from leading a sit-in towards Raiwind.
According to our correspondent, the court is likely to take up the petition next week. The full bench is comprised of Justice Shahid Hameed, Justice Anawar Ul Haq and Justice Qasim Khan.
Senior lawyer A.K. Dogar filed the application stating that Khan was making hate speeches causing confrontation among various sections of society.
The petitioner-lawyer asked the court to stop the PTI chief from launching this “unconstitutional” activity that may result in clashes between PTI and PML-N workers.—NNI
