Lawyers observe strike to condemn Quetta carnage

The lawyers community on Tuesday observed strike to mark the first anniversary of the Quetta carnage. Lawyers boycotted the court proceedings and held general house meetings in remembrance of the lawyers who died in Quetta carnage last year. Pakistan Bar Council and Punjab Bar Council had given strike call to condemn the terrorist attack that took place on August 8, 2016 in Quetta, wherein about 60 lawyers were killed and hundreds injured.
