Lawyers’ can help bring country out of crisis

Troika of judiciary, parliament and executive working in their ambit can bring country out of crisis as putting all responsibilities on the shoulders of judiciary is not the answer to problems currently facing the nation.
This was said by Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Adviser to Prime Minister on Aviation while addressing as chief guest at the annual presidential dinner of District Bar Association (DBA), Abbottabad held here.
Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, former KP governor said that to put country in right direction, judiciary can play vital role especially the lawyers community who with the maturity of thoughts is the only segment of the society who can define the role by bringing all stake holders under one umbrella.
Mr. Justice Qazi Ghaznafar in his address asked the lawyers to improve their skill and fully concentrate on quality and professionalism and had to set their priorities for the early and quick justice for which they had to burry the culture of “ Adjournment” which is main hurdle in the early disposal of cases.
Justice Qazi Ghaznafar, Judge of Peshawar High Court lauded the role of Abbottabad Bar and declared it one of the best bar of the country.
President of District Bar Association Haji Sabir Tanoli Advocate in his welcome address presented the annual report of the association and said that new building for the bar with latest equipped digital library is to be constructed with the total cost of Rs50 (m) and work is already started. He demanded an ambulance and doctors facility at court rooms.
Function was largely attended by the office bearers of bar associations of Haripur, Battragram, Havelian Mansehra with the lower courts judges.
