Lawbreakers netted

Rawalpindi—Police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 18 lawbreakers including two security ordinance violators besides recovering 6535 grams charras, 20 liter wine, 300 bottles of liquor, three pistols 30 bore with 14 rounds and fireworks items from the possession of the arrested accused, a police spokesman said on Sunday.
Rattamral police held Aslam for having 1100 grams charras. Waris Khan police netted Hamza with 505 grams charras. Bani police arrested Alam Zaib and recovered 2200 grams charras. New Town police seized 1175 grams charras and nabbed Ali. Naseerabad police apprehended Fayyaz for carrying 650 grams charras.
Gujar Khan police arrested Shakeel and recovered 300 bottles of liquor. New Town police held Hanif for having 10 liter wine while Sadiqabad police rounded up Zubair and recovered 10 liter wine.
Other accused were sent behind the bars for having drugs, illegal weapons and fireworks items.
Meanwhile, Gunjmandi police registered cases against Mudassir Khan and Tariq under section 14 of PSVEO for not making adequate security arrangements for their shops.—APP
