Karachi—The Karachi Electric (KE) recently completed installation of over 100 new low-cost meters in another part of Orangi-Gulshan-e-Bihar. A Camp was set up near Pakistan Bazar Police station in Orangi where KE’s team reviewed and discussed electricity issues with residents of the area.
The camp served as a one-stop-window for residents to apply for a connection. Subsidized ‘Low-cost Meters’ and a new connection on the spot were provided to consumers after they completed their respective documentation inside the camp premise. Over 50 new connections were set up in Gulshan-e-Bihar and the remaining new connections were installed in Baloch Goth and Data Nagar.
