KCEU Chairman condemns Indian firing


Brussels—The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU) Ali Raza Syed has strongly condemned unprovoked firing by Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC) and killing of civilians in an attack on a passenger bus in Neelum Valley area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Ali Raza Syed in a statement issued in Brussels said that it was a brutal act of Indian terrorism by committing continuously unprovoked firing on LoC. He said, a civilian bus carrying innocent and unarmed people inside Azad Kashmir was targeted. He also condemned martyrdom of Pakistani soldiers in Indian firing on the Line of Control. Ali Raza Syed prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and grant of courage to the loved ones of the martyrs to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
He said, by committing criminal attacks on LoC, India wants to divert attention of the world from a large scale violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.
He added that in last four and half months, occupied Kashmir has been witnessing huge brutalities of Indian forces. More than one hundred were killed and thousands injured in the period, he deplored. The KCEU Chairman said that Indian was committing state terrorism on oppressed people of Kashmir and it was not acceptable for civil societies of the world.
Expressing solidarity with families of the victims in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Ali Raza Syed said, “We shall continue to support for right to self-determination of the Kashmiris.”—KMS
