Karachi port oil terminal fire kills two

Karachi—Fury of fire raged for several hours at the PSO oil terminal at Kemari port for several years, causing devastation, and engulfing two precious lives, apart from listing two more as missing.
Officials said that the tank was filled with 1000-tonnes of methanol chemical, both of them being highly inflammable
Fire tenders from the Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Pakistan Navy and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) were busy in controlling, using foam and chemical, as extinguishers.
The tank belonged the State controlled oil company, PSO, controlling lion’s share in marketing and distribution of the oil
