ITA to organise Asian Ranking C’ships

Islamabad—Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA) under the auspicious of Pakistan Tennis Federation will organize first ever Asian Tennis Tour Men’s Asian Ranking Tennis Championships from October 23 to 30 here at the clay courts of PTF Tennis Complex.
The first of the series is Federal Cup ATT Championships and the Second one is Syed Tajammul Abbas Memorial ATT Championships.
These Championships carries US $5000 for each championships.
As many as 43 nations of Asia are eligible to participate in this newly introduce Men’s Professional Tennis Championships.
The winner of each leg will get US $900.
The main draw of each leg comprises 16 players out of which nine (9) to be accepted directly.
One Junior having highest ranking as per ITF Juniors will be eligible to be the part of the Draw.
Whereas host nation is allowed to enter four (4) wild cards below 23 years of age in the main draw.
All main draw players will also get US $125 as travel grant.
Qualifying draw shall be of 32 players.
The players who intent to participate in these two tournaments are asked to enter in the tournaments after getting Asian Players Identification Number (APIN) online through Asian Tennis Federation ATT Web site. The Last date of entry through APIN is 12th October 2016.
