Indian refusal for UN HRs probe illogical: Malik

srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, the illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, has termed as illogical India’s refusal to accept the UN probe into human rights violations by Indian forces in the territory.
Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said, denying a reality never changes that reality.
“If killing 90 innocents by bullets, shells, beatings and pellets, injuring about 15,000 people and snatching eyesight of hundreds, imposing curfew even on Eid and denying millions of Muslims a chance to pray and sacrifice according to their religious commands does not account to human rights violations and interference in religious affairs then what is the criteria set out by India for human rights in Jammu and Kashmir? Indian refusal to accept UN appeals on human rights of Kashmiris is illogical and absurd,” he said.—KMS
