Indian police arrest Behanji, dozen others



In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement Chairperson, Farida Behanji along with party leaders Maulvi Bashir Ahmad, Abdur Rashid and dozens of activists in Srinagar, Monday.
The arrests were made when Farida Behanji along with party leaders and activists was holding a protest demonstration for the release of political detainees, recovery of party activists Javed Ahmad Shala and Muhammad Siddiq Sofi at Aabi Guzur in Srinagar. The protest was also organized to condemn Indian election drama in the territory.—KMS
