Implementation of reforms starts in CDA

Islamabad—On the directions of Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Sheikh Anser Aziz, Administration Wing of the authority has started implementing reforms in the CDA. In this connection all staff deputed in Land Directorate has been transferred on complaints regarding irregularities.
The 153 officials which were transferred from Land and Rehabilitation Directorate included 18 Senior Assistants, 41 Sub- Assistants, 53 Lower Division Clerks, 04 Data Entry Operators, 01 Daftri and 36 Naib Qasids.
These employees have been replaced by well reputed officials posted in different formations of the authority.
After assuming responsibilities of Development of the City entrusted by government on elected representatives, Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman, CDA, took serious notice of complaints of irregularities in Land and Rehabilitation Directorate and transferred all officers in the first stance and directed the concerned formations to seal the land record for proper investigations. In the next phase of these reforms employees of lower grades posted in Land Directorate have been transferred.
Furthermore, on the directions of Mayor, Administration Wing has suspended the services of five (05) officials of different formations of the authority for incompliance of the official orders.
These officials were directed to report to Degree Verification Cell, however, even after consecutive reminders these officials not followed the official orders and eventually their services were suspended.
Two (02) Senior Assistants, One (01) Data Entry Operator, One (01) Lower Division Clerk and one (01) Security Guard are among the Suspended officials. Anser Aziz, said that undiscipline and negligence in official work will not be tolerated.
