Health cards to be issued to poor writers, singers

Badin—Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism, Sayed Sardar Shah has urged writers and authors to play their role promote the local culture. Addressing local writers, singers and authors here, he said provincial culture department is going to publish books on folk stories of Sindh. Sayed Sardar Shah said an advisory committee comprising writers, poets and authors of Badin, Thatta and Sajwal will be formed to identify poor singers and writers whom culture department will issue health cards and extend health insurance. He said that documentaries titled “Sindh-jo-Safar” would also be prepared to preserve different colors of culture of the province. The provincial minister said Laar Art Council will be established in Badin district.
