Grand finale of stock trading competition of Isra University concludes


Hyderabad—The Grand Finale of stock trading competition among students of different educational institutions which began on October 26 under the auspices of Isra University Hyderabad concluded successfully late Friday evening.
The third sequel of stock trading competition was organized by Isra Economic Society of Isra University Hyderabad in collaboration with JS Global Capital Limited in which 30 teams having participation of 150 students of different educational institutions included Institute of Business Administration University of Sindh, Sargodhian spirit Trust Public School Rashidaabad and the host Isra University have actively participated, the university spokesman informed on Saturday.
Out of 30 teams, the spokesman informed that ten teams have qualified for grand finale where the teams apprised the judges of the trading tactics considered while making trading decisions.
The panel of judges comprising Dr. Arshad Haroon CEO of MIRFA Investment Research Consultancy Company, Imran Khan Director of MIRFA Investment Research Consultancy Company and Abdul Latif Memon Branch Manager of JS Global Limited Hyderabad.
The judges after evaluation declared “The Entrepereneurs”, the team of Isra University comprising Muhammad Saqib, Mansoor Odho, Zeeshan Burhan, Abdul Mueed Channa and Ahsan Jabbar first in the grand finale while two teams namely “Risk Taker” and “Young Entrepereneurs” of Sarghodian Spirit Trust Public School Rashidabad comprising Juzdaan Asif, Faisal Riaz, Sumit Kumar, Faris Ali, Nouman Ahmed, Rana Tabraiz, Konain Ali, Sikandar Ali, Mairaj Ali and Waqas Masood clinched second and third placement respectively. —APP
