Gang involved in house robberies busted

Islamabad—Special Investigation Unit of Islamabad police has arrested seven persons including six women allegedly involved in looting houses and recovered gold ornaments and cash from them. On receipt of complaints, SP (Investigation) Muhammad Ilyas constituted a team headed by DSP CIA Bashir Noon which arrested a gang of seven persons including six females involved in robberies in guise of housemaids. Police recovered stolen valuables including gold necklace, two ear rings and Rs. 35,000 from them. Those arrested have been identified as Rubina, Shahnaz, Firdos, Rukhsana, Ayesha, Akhtar Naseem and Salim.
