First convocation of PGD programmes at Centre of Executive Education

The Centre of Executive Education (CEE), IBA, Karachi held first annual convocation for its three Post Graduate Diploma Programs in Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management and Healthcare Management.
Dr. Farrukh Iqbal, Dean and Director IBA. Praised the efforts of graduates for being the pioneers of this program. Dr. Farrukh stated, “We here at IBA, seek international affiliations to ensure that international standards of education are being followed, that is exactly each one of our program is affiliated with an international institution. Moreover, our teaching methodology consists of a mix of both, permanent faculty and visiting faculty, who are people belonging to the industry.
Dr. Farrukh’s address was followed by an address by our Guest of Honor Mr. Syed Muhammad Shabbar Zaidi, who appreciated the efforts of IBA, saying that he feels relieved that there are institutions such as IBA, which are continuously striving to provide qualified personnel to the Industry.
Following his address, diplomas were conferred to students by the Dean and Director, Dr. Farrukh Iqbal and the academic program directors Dr. Minhaj Qidwai, Dr. Rameez Khalid, and Ms. Nyla Ansari for their respective programs, and by the Acting Registrar of IBA, Mr. Jami Moiz for the absentia students. After which they presented Medals and Shields to the high achievers to celebrate outstanding excellence in their respective disciplines. The Valedictorian speeches of the Position Holders, left the audience in tears of joy.
The honorable Chief Guest Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, then addressed the audience emphasizing on the importance honesty, faith and dedication, saying that, “If a task is started with a foundation of concrete faith in Allah, success is Inevitable.” He also congratulated the graduates saying that IBA is known to be producing leaders, for the society.”
