Federal Ombudsman office appreciates NBP services

Karachi—Advisor to Federal Ombudsman’s Regional Office, Muhammad Yameen on Friday appreciated the services of National Bank of Pakistan including its social services. “ National Bank is superior to all banks of the country. NBP is not backward than anyone in the field of social welfare,” he commented at the inauguration ceremony of NBP’s automated teller machine (ATM) service at NBP Malir City branch on the eve of 66th anniversary of National Bank.
According to a statement from FTO Office here, Yameen Khan said that National Bank always took care of its account holders although the number was greater than that of other banks.
He said,”I have an account for 29 years in NBP Malir City Branch. I never faced any difficulty.” NBP’s Vice Chairman, Syed Ajmal Naveed said that services of NBP were better than other banks while this bank had an honor to have the largest number of account holders. He said that a large number of pensioners were also attached to NBP; who were our big power. He said National Bank had also a prominent place in social services and sports activities. He said that objective of celebrating 66th anniversary of the bank and customer week was to develop understanding among our customers and to take practical steps for solution of their problems. —APP
