Ex-gov Sindh congratulates new Army Chief

Karachi—Former Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan in a message on Saturday said that the appointment of Lt-Gen Qamar Jawed Bajwa as the new army chief is a good omen for Pakistan.
Dr Ebad congratulated the Gen Bajwa on becoming the chief of the Pakistan army.
He also congratulated and appreciated the appointment of General Zubair Mahmood Hayat as Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan expressed his hope that under the leadership of Gen Bajwa the Pakistan army will reach greater horizons and record supreme successes.
Dr Ebad also applauded the services of the outgoing Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif for his services to the nation in the establishment of peace and maintenance of security, specially the launch and execution of Zarb-e-Azb.
He termed the high-profile appointments of the CJCSC and the COAS as guarantee for security and development in the country.
