Dry weather to prevail in most parts of country


Islamabad—Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts and hot in plain areas of the country. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP. In last 24 hours weather remained dry in most parts of the country.
Maximum temperatures recorded on Friday were Turbat 41øC, Pasni, Sibbi, Lasbella 39øC, Hyderabad, Lahore 36øC, Multan 35øC, Karachi, Peshawar, Faisalabad 34øC, Islamabad 33øC, Muzaffarabad 31øC, Dir 30øC, Quetta, Gilgit, Chitral 28øC, Hunza, Kalat 24øC, Skardu 23øC and Murree 22øC.
The Quetta Met Office has forecast a dry and cold weather for the provincial capital during next 24 hours. On Friday, the highest maximum temperature 24 centigrade and the lowest minimum 11 centigrade were recorded in the metropolis. The dry weather has been forecast for other parts of the region.
Meanwhile, Karachi Met Office has forecast mostly sunny weather for Karachi during the next 24 hours. A Met Office official said that the maximum temperature is expected to remain between 32 to 34 degrees Centigrade,with 55 to 65 per cent humidity.
The Met Office said that hot and dry weather is expected to prevail elsewhere in Sindh over the next 24 hours.—APP
