Drone camerasto monitor law, order situation


Hyderabad—The District Police Hyderabad have decided to use drone cameras first time to monitor the law and order situation during the passage of main mourning procession to be taken out from Qadam Gah Moula Ali on 10th Muharram.
The Police spokesman informed that around 3200 policemen and commandos along with Rangers personnel, scouts and members of District Peace Committee will provide security cover to mourners on Ashura.
The roads and streets, leading to the route of main mourning procession have been sealed with barbwires while police shooters have been deployed at the rooftops of the buildings at different points of the route for prompt respond of any eventuality if any, the spokesman informed and added that the bomb disposal squads of Rangers and Police would also accompany the main mourning procession which would terminate at Karbala Dadan Shah in the afternoon, after performing “Noha Khawani”, “Zanjeer Zani” and offering “Namaz-e-Zuhrain”.
The DIG Hyderabad Khadim Hussain Rind and SSP Irfan Baloch also visited different parts of Hyderabad City, Latifabad and Qasimabad where they reviewed the security arrangements and also issued necessary directives for further strengthening the security arrangements, the spokesman informed.—APP
