Friday, April 15, 2011 - He appeared a little shy as he walked towards me this morning, “Would you help me?” he asked. I looked at him, and was sure he was not in need of money, “What is it?” I asked, curious. “It is my golden wedding anniversary next week, and was wondering whether you would write a speech for me?”
I laughed and agreed, this was not an unusual request from many who know I am a writer by profession, but I had never written a speech for a golden anniversary and decided to look up some quotes, and was pleasantly surprised to find a few nice ones on marriage and love which I thought I’d share with you today:
