Some thoughts for today..!
Do you know why a Car’s windshield is so large and the Rear view Mirror is so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our future: So look Ahead and Move on. And here’s one, for all you agitators who ban and burn books so readily these days: Building confidence in one another is like a book. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write. Many of us are going through terrible times and to those, these words should bring a sense of calm: All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong, don’t worry, they can’t last long either. Here’s another on friends, but said so beautifully: Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamonds! If you get a Diamond, don’t forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a Base of Gold! I read this and imagined a God above looking down and saying these words to me: Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, “Relax, my child, it’s just a bend, not the end! Read this one, and you’ll start getting confidence in the muscle God has given you to solve your problems yourself sometimes: When God solves your problems, you have faith in His abilities; when God doesn’t solve your problems he has faith in your abilities.
A blind person asked Swami Vivekananda: “Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?” He replied: “Yes, losing your vision!” Isn’t this true of most of our blind, visionless politicians? I liked this a lot, because so often I hear people telling me, ‘We prayed for you Bob!” Now I know what it means: When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you. And finally to many of us who spend the whole day tense and worried, here’s something to chew on: Worrying does not take away tomorrows’ troubles, it takes away today’s peace. How right isn’t it? Read them again dear friends, they could help you through this week..!
