US’s blue eyed terrorist State
It was nothing but an act of blatant international piracy when it attacked the Freedom Floatilla in open high seas taking 800 Peaceniks and survival goods to the besieged humanity of Gaza Strip which is undergoing Natzi torture at the hands of its reincarnation Jewish Terrorism. In that criminal raid on the Peace Flotilla it is said to have killed 80 of its peaceful peace loving passengers and injured a number of them. In this Peace Flotilla were three Pakistani, the voice of Pakistan’s conscience. Talat Hussain with Raza Mahmoud and Agha . Israel in the traditions of Goebel’s style of trading falsehood manufactured an alibi that it was fired from the Peace Flotilla. Say any bombastic falsehood is the habit of Israel. That it was an act of state terrorism need not be underlined when Israel is nothing but a terrorist state that was its birth. As any expert knows in their traditional style US and its allies said not a word. They in fact relished this bragandry, a la mode. Regrettably our Government used words as soft as they could. Its spokesmen spoke very “objectively” very soberly, like an American reporter speaking in an “objective” style. Not condemning the act of a international piracy as understandingly as they could. Adopting Milk and honey tone on international brigandry. Hats off to such modicum of politeness. What is Israel but the American cut out of terrorism in the Muslim world, extending its tentacles to Asia even? Long Live Musharrafs and his like-minded Muslim “leaders” or American stooges.
Pity the persons who came on the private TV channel screens. They were suggesting that Pakistan make direct contacts with Israel to “find out the whereabouts of Talat Hussain and two other Pakistanis, oblivious of the implications of their recommendation, that they were suggesting moving towards recognition of Israel, that is grant of international respectability and entrance in the entire Muslim world to the gangster State little realizing that this is the only card we the impotents are left with. People were called “experts” on the Middle East little realizing that an expert is one who has intimate knowledge of the area, lived there, knew personally its leaders, if not been friends to some of them, knows the language.
I am not aware who after me had that expertise or lived in the Middle East for ten years on diplomatic posts. I was astonished that in support of this idea example of errant leaders were quoted in support of having direct contacts with Israel. The only weapon we the impotent 1.2 billio Muslims with over 57 OIC states have is to stop recognition of Israel — to let it remain an out cast and a leper of the region, and to boycott its goods. If even these two sticks are taken from our hands what can we do with the kind of “leaders” we have- “democratic” and non democratic — subservient to the US body and sole. Do not present the examples of errant as worth emulating Do not take defeatism to this extent. It was said by a diplomat that he was asked to contact Israel Ambassador in US when Pakistan had received information that Israel was ready to attack Pakistani N-sites when we were ready to explode our N-bomb , if there was truth in these news.
The Diplomat claimed that he was just asked Israel if it wanted to attack Pakistan when Nawaz Sharif decided to go for N-explosions. The statement sounded as if he was just asked to seek this information from his Israeli contacts. Was it really just that apologetic stand we took at that time Since Gauhar Auyb was the Foreign Minister at that time, he should be able to tell us whether Israel was asked matter of factly about its intentions to bomb Pakistan or was it warned of the serious consequences if it attacked Pakistan. Press reports were that Israel was warned that if it did that Pakistan would massively retaliate to that cheekiness, and we had made preparations to do that. It was then Israel piped down. Gauhar Ayub should be able to tell us what was the truth?
As for Israeli intentions of a “surgical strike” on Pakistan’s N-sites, no less than Washington Post had reported that and Seymore Hersh had written in his column. One should like to know was this “contact” with Israel made to get the matter of fact information about its intentions to strike on Pak N-sites or was a threat given that if Israel attacked Pak N-sites it would be retaliated massively. Entirely on a different situation, General Beg met Seymore Hesrh on the latter’s request in Islamabad, and has four of us to have a talk with him when he said Israel is so small that it is afraid that only one or two N-bombs can wipe it off the map. Neither this “contact” the diplomat claimed he had with Israel nor other misbehaviours of some personal errant rulers in violation of national policy laid down since the days of the Quaid-i-Azam can be counted as a justification for making “direct contacts” with Israel. In such cases only third parties are approached as Mushahid Hussain rightly said what should have been done by Pakistan. He had done it himself and obtained the information that Talat Hussain and two others were safe. The points being made here are that: Israel is a perennial gangster state and resorts to sheer gangsterism with the backing of the US & the Weat. As Arfat told me when I had gone to him as Special Envoy in 1979, that the then PLO Representative in Islamabad was assassinated/murdered by Mossad and he wanted report from Pakistan on that murder which Pakistan was not providing to him. He wanted me to have that report sent to him. A clear indication that Israeli gangsterism is supported to the hilt by the West was the manner in which the news of this international piracy was blacked out by the CCN, BBC, and other western media, Two, the policy of boycotting Israel is the only weapons we the impotent Muslims have and to suggest that we surrender it is a sheer folly three. Our Government acted as a pusillanimous party in denouncing it, since it in fact did not denounce it. It said in a manner of six of one and half a dozen of that or standing on the safe side. This where we have descended in our standing in international community. Once we were a regional power, now a client State.
If this is not a blatant act of terrorism then what can it be. The ship was flying a Turkish flag, of a country with which Israel has diplomatic relations. The ship was on a humanitarian peace mission, it was on high seas or international waters, yet it was attacked killing 20 persons and wounding about 80. It was also a hostile act, under international law against Turkey. One would agree with the proposal that OIC should declare Israel a terrorist State. Today the nation, no the entire Muslim world, missed the two great leaders, King Faisal and Bhutto that is, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and looked with sorrow on the dummies on the stage. Their leadership and their spirit is gone, not even their shadows exist. It is the national leadership that makes the difference.
