20 bikes impounded during general hold up

Saturday, December 28, 2013 - Islamabad—Islamabad Capital Territory Police on Friday arrested five outlaws and also impounded 20 bikes and two vehicles during general hold up, a police spokesman said.

According to details, SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan has directed all police officials to ensure effective security and patrolling measures in their respective areas.

Police officials have been directed to take strict action against vehicles being driven without documents and irrelevant persons.

On Friday, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ishaq from Lohi Bher police station arrested five accused namely, Riaz,Farooq, Bilal, Saleem and Nadeem for their alleged involvement in theft case.Case has been registered against them and further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police impounded 20 bikes ,two vehicles during general hold up and black sheets were removed from seven tinted glasses vehicles. Police teams also arrested three suspects and 14 beggars from various areas of the city.

SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan has appreciated the overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
