Amjed JaavedThursday, October 10, 2013 - The last date for admission to Class VIII (2014 session) in PAF Public School, Sargodha, was Oct 5. According to the school’s advertisements, leaflets and posters, the application form could be had directly from the school or PAF Information and Recruitment Centres, or downloaded from their website www.ppss.edu.pk.
But long before the last date the website closed accessibility to admission forms. Likewise, the PAF Information and Recruitment Centres, in consent with the school administration, stopped providing forms to visitors.
When I visited the Centre, they tendered the excuse that the forms are out of stock and the school authorities has not replenished their stock. I request the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of PAF’s blocking of access to admission forms. It appears that the admission process at other stages (tests, interviews, etc) also is susceptible to manipulation. The Air Chief should also look into the mess. The last date for submission of the Admission Forms should be extended by a fortnight and given due publicity.
