Khoja performs Hajj balloting for NIT employees

Sunday, March 03, 2013 - Karachi—The NIT has changed its Hajj scheme to permanent Hajj policy this year; NIT Chairman/MD Mr. Wazir Ali Khoja said this while balloting six employees with spouse who will perform Hajj-e-Baitullah on the expenses of NIT.

Addressing the NIT employees on balloting ceremony held in NIT Head Office, Karachi he said that he has doubled the number of employees of NIT Hajj Scheme from 3 to 6 last year with $500 to each intended Haji for Hajj expenses and got it approved from board of directors. Mr. Khoja also thanked the members of NIT Board of Management for their outright support for transforming the Hajj Scheme into a permanent Hajj policy of NIT.

In the lucky draw following six NIT employees were selected for Hajj this year. Mr. Akhtar Mehmood of NIT Nazimabad Branch, Mr. Aamir Baber Malik Manager Township Branch Lahore, Mrs. Attiya Javed civic centre branch Karachi, Mr. Muhammad Razaaq Messenger NIT Mirpur Azad Kashmir, Mr. Muhammad Mustafa Ahmed senior law officer NIT head office and Miss. Quratulain of NIT IFC Karachi.

Mr. Khoja urged the intended pilgrims to pray in KABA SHARIF for the safety, security and prosperity of Pakistan and for the advancement of NIT. On this occasion he also announced certain other benefits for the employees of NIT who are on the verge of retirement. The ceremony was concluded by Mehfil-e-Millad (SAW).
