Zardari in Lahore, inaugurates Bilawal House
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf called on the President and discussed with him the political situation of the country, especially Punjab and other pressing issues. The Prime Minister also briefed the President about steps taken for forthcoming elections.
A number of party leaders and Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were also present on the occasion.
Sources say the Bilawal House located in popular Bahria Town having a worth of five billion rupees, is a bullet proof bungalow built on over 200 kanals of land. The house carries a runway for landing of private jets.
Sources quoted as saying that the house is a gift to the president from Malik Riaz, the owner of Bahria Town.
The President will stay in Punjab provincial capital for six days. Earlier he was scheduled to stay for three days. During his stay here he would also meet PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind to condole the death of his brother Abbas Sharif, sources said.
