Staff ReporterTuesday, February 05, 2013 - Islamabad—Children from various educational institutes of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Monday held colorful cultural activities at Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) to show their solidarity with Kashmiris. Young students of different schools and colleges delivered extravagant performances through skits, tableau, speeches, Kashmiri songs and dance held at PNCA Auditorium to express solidarity with Kashmir cause.
These activities reflected the sufferings, miseries and agonies of the Kashmiri people through manifestation of young talent to attract world’s attention towards struggle of independence of Kashmiri people.
The children paid tribute to the martyrs of Kashmir who sacrificed their lives for self determination and independence of mother land. The educational institutes which participated in these activities included Divisional Public School, Islamabad Model School for Girls, G-6/1-3, Islamabad Model School for Girls F-6/1, Islamabad City Campus, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, Islamabad City Campus Islamabad H-8, Islamabad Science School & Collage F-8 and Islamabad Model College for Girls.
At the end of event chief guest Joint Secretary, Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit Baltistan Division, Mrs. Midat Shahzad awarded the prizes and certificates to the participating students.
