Pakistan Film Festival-2013 concludes
The seven-day festival was started on January 24 with an aim to counter the recent spate of cultural invasion and promote revival of cinema culture in the capital city.
A cocktail of seven old and new Lollywood blockbuster Urdu and Punjabi movies were screened in the film festival to give a boost to the dying film industry of Pakistan.
The films selected to be screened for the festival includes Heer Ranjha, Ek Gunah Aur Sahi, Mohabbatan Succhian, Koi Tujh sa Kahan, Jhoomar, Ye Dil Aap Ka Hua, and Bulandi.
According to the PNCA Director General, Tauqeer Nasir, this festival was an effort of council to give a new dimension to the dying culture of Pakistani films and cinemas.—APP
