KRL clinch PPL Football

Wednesday, January 16, 2013 - Karachi—Khan Research Laboratory (KRL) clinched the 9th edition of Pakistan Premier Football League-2012 and cash award of Rs.700,000 after their last league match against PIA ended in a goalless draw at KPT Stadium on Tuesday.

KRL ended their campaign with 70 points in 30 matches while Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) finished runners-up and Muslim Football Club Chaman finished third spot. Both KESC and Muslim Club secured 62 points each.

Army secured fourth place with 58 points while Pakistan Air Force (PAF) finished in fifth (53 points).—APP
