Pakistan team in Malaysia to attend PharmaTech 2012
Acting High Commissioner for Pakistan to Malaysia Muhammad Nadeem Khan welcomed the event and lauded the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) for sending a strong delegation to participate in PharmaTech 2012 for exploring possibilities for economic collaborations, networking and business matchmakings.
He also appreciated what he described as a positive trend of growth in Pakistan’s exports of pharmaceutical products which stood at US $ 136 million in 2010 and US $151 million in 2011, registering a remarkable growth of 133 per cent over the last six years.
“This positive growth highlights the acceptability and competitiveness of Pakistani products in the international markets,” he said. During its stay in Kuala Lumpur, the Pakistani delegation is also scheduled to meet with heads of Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia (PHAMA).—APP
