17,000 SMBBT plots distribution soon
Friday, November 16, 2012 - Hyderabad—The Board of Revenue Sindh has earmarked more than 17,000 plots under Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Township (SMBBT) scheme in various districts of the province which would be distributed free of cost among poor families. Under the scheme each deserving family will be allotted 120-square yards plot with all civic services in 46 towns or cities of 23 districts of the province, an official of the Board of Revenue Sindh told APP on Wednesday.
He said that 10,000 plots at Karachi and about 7,400 plots at Hyderabad, Thatta, Jamshoro and Tando Mohammad Khan are available for allotment while planning and development of more then 26,000 plots has already been undertaken. He said that planning and development of one thous.
