Muslims’ unity urged to foil conspiracy

Staff Reporter

Sunday, September 23, 2012 - Peshawar—Pakistan Muslim-League-Quaid (PML-Q) central leader Syed Qasim Shah urged the Muslims Umma to bring unity among them to foil conspiracy being hatched against Islam. Addressing a press conference here at press club on Saturday, he said that the disrespected movie is an attempt to defame Islam, which hurt the sentiments of the Muslims around the world saying we could never tolerate insult of our last Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) by the Islam’s enemies.

Flanked by provincial general secretary of the party Intikhab Khan Chamkani, the PML-Q central said Pakistan had been brought into being in the name of Islam but West and America were trying to enforce their own policy and culture in our country. He said to register protest was our right against the defamatory film by the American civilians but it did not mean to ransack the private and public property adding that peaceful agitation is sign of the civilized nations. We can defend our religion.
