PCSIR marketing cell starts functioning
Sunday, September 23, 2012 - Islamabad—Marketing and commercialisation cell of Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) has started working, Chairman PCSIR, Dr Shoukat Parvaiz said.
Talking to media, he said that the council was acting on the principle of self-reliance, so that it can fulfill its necessities in case of not getting government funds.
The chairman said that after reviewing the financial hardships of the council, the Senate’s Standing Committee on Science and Technology had assured to release funds for the council, which was a benevolent step. “The Senate’s standing committee has made a sub-committee that would help in the release of funds,” he added.
He further said that the marketing and commercialization sell of the council was fully in contact with its all centres throughout the country, which have started marketing of their products.—INP
